Construction is way down everywhere, over most of the globe. I have read recently the boom in Construction in Dubai is crashing big time as their boom was one of the biggest in the world. Then money for all the construction, the credit, is all disappearing as values of homes are falling. I thing you need to do some research on the current conditions in Dubai since having one of the biggest booms they might have one of the bigger tumbles for a while.

Think OIL. When it was $140 a barrel all the arabs had all sorts of money to build anything that they could dream up, now it is $40 and not looking like it is going anywhere but down. At this rate they will be doing good to build new tents!

No I've drunk beer in public in Dubai, Women dont have to wear the veil, even wearing a bikini is fine... but at the same time, they are a lot stricter on a lot of things than the west is. Dont have sex on the beach...

All persons physically present in a country must obey the laws of that country. If someone from Dubai comes to the u.s., he must obey the law of the u.s., If an American goes to Dubai, he must obey the laws of Dubai. I suspect you are trying to ask something else, but I do now know what it is.

yes. the world as you know it will seem all fine and rosy until a muslim makes a complaint against you, then your entire view of humanity will implode, with the prospect of facing their judicial system. if you think your legal system is bad at home, your in for one hell of a trip

you must be a Muslim, if so take a Umra visa and in the mean time find job there by walk in interview.
2 :
Not Muslim? Not a chance. If you are Muslim, you will have to have a job lined up with a company and have them sponsor you. You will have to live in a closed housing commune where expats live.
