I have been offered a job of Store Manager in Dubai. My worth in India is around Rs 60 K. I am married and my wife is MBA. We have a small baby. Will it make sense to accept this offer ?

You can make it - but to be able to sponsor your wife the following requirements have to be fulfilled: A salary of AED 8.000 with accommodation provided or a salary of AED 10.000 without accommodation. Please ask your future employer if a NOC will be provided to sponsor your family. I wish you guys wouldn't accept these low offers. Hopefully AED 7.500 is only your basic pay and housing and transportation will be provided. Otherwise it's getting tight.

My Suggestion is accept this offer and come to Dubai stay for a while and if the time comes jump this comp to another comp. when I come to Dubai my salary is same 7.500 dhs, @ that time my wife is also with me. we both stayed in a shared accommodation ( own accommodation ).I have been here for 2 years, Now I am employed in Public sector company with good salary, so accept this offer, this is break through for you to come to UAE.

7500 with wife and kid is tight - dubai is v expensive. if you are getting 60k in india, stay put there, your wife can also find a job with a similar salary... indians hardly come to middle east nowadays bcos the home country is booming so much. You know, to be honest until you get a salary of 20k-30k dhs or above its not worth coming to dubai bcos you wont be able to afford a good lifestyle below that.

Rs 60 K in India is very good! Dirham 7,500 in Dubai is hand to mouth! One solution for Dubai could be that your wife also work with MBA degree but then.... your small baby? With 10 k,you will be able to live comfortably with your wife staying at home.Dubai is expensive!
