I heard from News or Tv that this country is one of the richest country...and one of the best place to work coz the salary is great? is that true? can u give me the sample of your salary when you working there?

The richest country in the world may not be the best place to work. First, do you know anybody there, to teach you the culture and way of life. second, it helps if you know the language. Money, or a hefty salary is not the answer to happiness. I got friends, a whole family, that use to live there and they actually own a business there and they told me that it is ok, but they won't recommend it in a heartbeat. My dad, actually work in its neighboring country for two decades and he would'nt recommend it.

It is right that Dubai belongs to one of the richtest countries. If salaries are great depends what you call a great salary and on your life style. The salary you receive depends also on your profession, experience and sad but true: on your nationality. It's not only the salary that's count living here, it's the salary package which should incl. Salary, housing allowance, transportation, health care and a once a year ticket back home. Salaries vary from Dhs 400 for cleaning staff to Dhs 800 - Dhs1.200 for workers and up to Dhs 2.500 to 4.000 for people working in the private sector working as sales persons or in offices. These people are mostly from the Phillippiniens, Pakistan and the Indian Subcontinent. The salary of a teacher or a nurse can be higher depending if he/she works for a private clinic/school or for the govt. sector. Also people working in the banking sector will receive a higher salary. Most Westerners would not work for that kind of money coz they won't leave their home country to work in the UAE for less then back home.
