I mean how much would be the expenses if i stay on my own and food . . if i am a indian veggie ? and what could be done after office ? how is the nightlife ?

Work depends on your qualification and experience. The professions in demand are Accountancy, Sales, HR and Contruction engg. Good quality IT jobs are not available here. If you are single, then you can stay on a shared appartment. There can be two to twenty people in a room depending on your choice. A single room costs anywhere between AED 3000 to 4000 per month and so it is generally shared by two to ten people. Food expenses can be around AED 550 per month. If you want to live a simple and decent life ( no night clubs, no alchohol, no girl friends etc ) then the expenses can be around 1700 to 2000 per person including shared accomodation rent, water & elec bill, food, laundry etc. A driving license will cost you about AED 5000 and three to four months to get it after your work visa. Car will cost you another 1000 dirhams including instalments, parking fees and petrol. Fines are very high. Nightlife is just like any other cosmo. Dance bars, clubs, one night stands etc are there of all natures.

not too bad to live in dubai, you dont need much money to get by if ur a veggie, you set ur stall, you can live for 10,000 AED per month and spend your evenings in the traffic. You are welcome to it
