i got dubai work permit which one issued on old passport now i have new passport so it is possible to travel ?
give me solution in this matter i have dubai work permit which one issued on my old passport, now passport office will issue new passport, problem is that in work permit mention old passport no. and old passport has been canceled, so can i travel with my new passport and same work permit without changing any document. reply me as soon as possible.

Yes you can. You will need to carry your old passport as well as your new one. Just because a passport expires does not mean that any valid visas, work permits and similar documents expire with it. I still carry my 1981 expired passport as it contains a valid for life work permit for Iran. Ian M

Bring the old (canceled) passport with you , and show it along with the new one to the immigration person. But if I were you , to play it safe, better call the UAE embassy in your country and ask if the new passport needs to be re-stamped with the visa or is it satisfactory to just bring the old one along with it so that you can have it done properly after you enter the country. In case it needs a new stamp you can avoid the hassle and take care of it before leaving for UAE. And if it does not you will have a peace of mind. I think with everything computerized they probably can update your file with the new passport number on the fly. You can also go to www.dnrd.ae and ask Dubai immigration directly.(you have to sign up on the website )

How can i get a work permit for Dubai?
I am a 26 year old Zimbabwean male based in South Africa, i am a marketer by profession and would love to work in Dubai. How can i get a permit and what are my opportunities as a Zimbabwean seeking success.

the only way to get a work permit in dubai is to get a job there. when u have been accepted for a job the immigration department will issue yr sponsor (employer) an entry visa for u to enter the country, once u are there they will take yr passport and other required info to the ministry of labour and immigration and a residence visa will be stamped in yr passport and a labour card (work permit) issued this card is kept by the employer. hope this helps.

You can not do it yourself... Some of the compamny In UAE has to appoint you and sponsor you for the job

1. search for a suitable job online 2. get hired 3. receive your employment visa to enter Dubai 4. company will apply for work permit on your behalf 5. company will apply for residence visa on your behalf. Please note, that it is illegal for recruitment agencies to charge job seekers. All costs (recruitment agency, your ticket, visa and labor related costs have to be on the employer). I think h has been very comprehensive; but I just want to note that people are being laid off right now in Dubai; so don't expect that it would be easy to find a job. It's darn hard.

Hi, I would like to know if there is a possibilility to live and work in the United States Of America since I'm orginally from Pakistan and currently working in Dubai. I would like to know the best but the cheapest way to get this done.

In case you fulfill certain requirements (education, profession, etc) you can play the green card lottery. http://www.usafis.org/ Please note, that there isn't any cheap way to relocate in the USA. Different than in the UAE, visa costs, medical exam and travel costs have to come out your own pocket. (Assuming that you are not a high professional getting hired aboard) You also will have to show proof of sufficient funds to support yourself by showing bank statements. yes its widely used here and you can find an Internet connection very easily .. but not all of them are safe to use .. try the company wifi or shops if you want ..
