Getting another passport legally can take several years. IF you wish to emigrate to Canada, details are below but the process will take a few years. When you do arrive in Canada, you need to live in that country for 3 years before you can apply for citizenship. Skilled worker application You need to have at least 1 years work experience in your chosen field before you can apply. 4 years is better - gives you more points. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp You must meet the following minimum requirements to apply as a skilled worker: You have at least one continuous year of full-time, paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment. Your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC). You must have had this experience within the last 10 years. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/noc.asp NOC list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp assessment test - you must get 67 points to qualify. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/02a-skilled-fed.asp application processing times in Skilled worker category You will need $10,000 saved up - before you apply as you will be required to show this proof that you have this money when you apply. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You seriously had the nerve to apply at the same company??????? By their reaction I assume they reported you absconded, means, you are blacklisted and therefore not able to enter the UAE. A bit late now to ask for the right thing unless you find an amicable solution with your former employer and send him your passport via courier for cancellation.
2 :
well if they have black listed then i guess u cant ever come to UAE and if they have band you then u cant come to UAE for 6 months after 6 months u can able to apply for a new job. so its better tell them to cancel your visa and ya u can remove your band by paying approx AED 5000 to 7000 and u can enter here....this wat happen to me..so i did..but i dnt knw wat is rules now....coz after cancelling my visa i got 32 days something...i m not sure for above all rules..

First you need to find an employer with job opening according to your experience. How to get one??? Same as how you use the internet and posting your question here.... browse and search the internet but not in the UAE section. Maybe you can post your question in the China Section Hongkong being part of China... Home > All Categories > Travel > Asia Pacific > China...then post your question here....

No one will really care what your religion is; more important is whether you would both qualify for work visas AND receive job offers. Sadly, Canada has plenty of drivers and nannies so you would not likely qualify to immigrate here. Sorry but our economy is doing really badly. With 1.5 million citizens out of work, what few jobs there may be won't go to foreigners but to our own people. It isn't that you, personally, would be unwelcome but that there just aren't any jobs in your field.
2 :
Z is more or less right, though I wouldn't give up quite yet. First of all, the Government of Canada does not care what your religion is. Also, a job as a driver will not get you a visa. We have many people with medical degrees and PhDs currently working as drivers. Your wife may be able to apply though a nanny program; most live-in nannies in Canada are Filipina or Russian. That being said, having a nanny is extremely rare because most families cannot afford one. It is rare for Canadians to pay others to do their housework, though when they do they mostly hire maids. Live-in nannies only exist for a very small number of very rich people. Canada has a different economy and culture than the Middle East in that we tend not to hire servants. Also, there has been recent reforms to the refugee system, so it is much more difficult to obtain refugee status than it was even 6 months ago. So while I wouldn't give up yet until you're sure, I'm not optimistic about your prospects for a work visa.

selling papers on public roads is illegal in Dubai , but it is OK in Sharjah. Also no one would officially hire a 15 year old because it is against child labor laws , but I guess you can check the paper classifieds for some thing more suitable for his age.
2 :
You can't. It is 16 for a worker's permit in the UAE :) I know it sucks, because even when you turn 16 it is a bitch to find any work.
3 :
Legaly you r not eligible to work in any company. . As I previously said to your age mates, there are many solutions for you. You can help your parents to arrange the house, clean, throw the garbage, go to the shop, fix something and let them know that is better for them that money to give it to you instead of domestic part-time workers who are able to. Help your family friends and encourage your friends to help you too if there is something hard to get done. NOTE: Some parents dont want to give their teenagers a lot of money, not to spoil them. Dont get angry at them if they dont, they are doing the best for you.

For working in Dubai only, you need the license from Dohms, Dubai where you also can apply. http://www.jobsindubai.com/articledetail.asp?id=16&page=6 For being able to work all over the UAE, you need a MoH (Ministry of health, Abu Dhabi)license. Here a list of hospitals in Dubai. Is it advisable to work in Dubai as Store Manager of well know shoe brand at a monthly salary of Dirham 7,500

Is it advisable to work in Dubai as Store Manager of well know shoe brand at a monthly salary of Dirham 7,500?
I have been offered a job of Store Manager in Dubai. My worth in India is around Rs 60 K. I am married and my wife is MBA. We have a small baby. Will it make sense to accept this offer ?

You can make it - but to be able to sponsor your wife the following requirements have to be fulfilled: A salary of AED 8.000 with accommodation provided or a salary of AED 10.000 without accommodation. Please ask your future employer if a NOC will be provided to sponsor your family. I wish you guys wouldn't accept these low offers. Hopefully AED 7.500 is only your basic pay and housing and transportation will be provided. Otherwise it's getting tight.
2 :
My Suggestion is accept this offer and come to Dubai stay for a while and if the time comes jump this comp to another comp. when I come to Dubai my salary is same 7.500 dhs, @ that time my wife is also with me. we both stayed in a shared accommodation ( own accommodation ).I have been here for 2 years, Now I am employed in Public sector company with good salary, so accept this offer, this is break through for you to come to UAE.
3 :
7500 with wife and kid is tight - dubai is v expensive. if you are getting 60k in india, stay put there, your wife can also find a job with a similar salary... indians hardly come to middle east nowadays bcos the home country is booming so much. You know, to be honest until you get a salary of 20k-30k dhs or above its not worth coming to dubai bcos you wont be able to afford a good lifestyle below that.
4 :
Rs 60 K in India is very good! Dirham 7,500 in Dubai is hand to mouth! One solution for Dubai could be that your wife also work with MBA degree but then.... your small baby? With 10 k,you will be able to live comfortably with your wife staying at home.Dubai is expensive!

No in Dubai you must be Arab. In China I am not sure, but knowing Madarin or whatever dialect of Chinese and region of you want to go to first would help
3 :
Yeah because it's so rare to find a bachelors engineer in china or dubai that they have to resort to importing undergrads from the US??? Are you stupid?? Yeah, you can find a job planting rice in China!!!!
4 :
Its a nice thought but Dubai is a city not a country, the rest of the country is suffering from poverty, and in China the same scenario, the metropolises are booming but the rest are falling behind. An engineering degree would make it easier to get a job, but most of these nations are having a hard enough time employing their own citizens.

Is 2800 AED per month + conveyence + insurance is sufficient for a single to stay and work in Dubai

Is 2800 AED per month + conveyence + insurance is sufficient for a single to stay and work in Dubai?
I have got a job offer of 2800 AED per month with conveyence and insurance extra. should i go for it? i am working in India infoline with salary of 15k per month. I am B.TECH and MBA in marketing.
United Arab Emirates - 6 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
2800 is very low and definitely not what an engineer deserves (even without MBA). Renting a place in Dubai is a pain in the neck. To give you an idea, if you go for sharing a room (not flat) with one person, it will easily cost you 1200-1500 AED. With this kind of salary, you won't have any savings unless you are prepared to stay in bedspace (where you can even end up in a room being shared by 12 persons!!) which would cost you may be 500 AED. If you are a kind of guy who is willing to make compromises initially and don't have to provide support to your family back home then you can go for it but be prepared to have a tough life. In my opinion, even for a single person, you should get at least 4000-5000AED min (to begin with)
2 :
No, that is not enough.
3 :
Very low salary. In dubai house is so expensive . otherwise u will wast around 800 just for 1 bed space in a room with other 4 whitch is not good for ur salary also the life is so expensive here . Dont accept it
4 :
Also when Dhs 2.800 are more than 15K INR, it's not enough at all for a decent life in Dubai and a joke for a full time job in your profession. Our so called "coffee boy" makes 3.600 + benefits. I do not know what you mean by "convenience", but when accommodation is meant by that, it may be just a bed space in a shared room with others. A room without any privacy shared with strangers. Is that what you went to college for? By insurance provided, I assume you are talking about health care. Please be aware, that this offered health care will only cover basics without the opportunity to visit a doc of your choice. I am quite sure that you are suppose to sign a limited contract for 2 or 3 years, which means you will be stuck to a very low lifestyle for a couple years. I have to leave it up to you what to do or not, but there should be a better offer than this one. Please visit the link giving below, do some maths and think twice. http://www.dubaifaqs.com/cost-of-living-in-dubai.php Take care.
5 :
Bad Salary. You will regret coming here with that salary. Why is your Indian salary so low?? Are you a fresher? All the Indian MBAs I know earn nothing less than RS 40k and at starting! (thats in Mumbai of course) Search harder. Maybe you simply need a new or you're seriously underpaid.
6 :
No. It’s a very very low salary. Especially if your accommodation i not provided by the company. On the other hand, I guess its a bad time to come here, as all Indians in our company and around are moving back to India (all levels, managers through labors). With all due respect, the market here has got some negative feeling about Indians now.

Is Dubai safe to work and live in if you are a British, single female

Is Dubai safe to work and live in if you are a British, single female?
I am thinking of working in Dubai short-term (6 months) - due to the current economic climate in Britain. I have never been to Dubai before. Does anyone have personal experiences of living/working in Dubai? How acceptable is it out there as a single, British female? What is there to do in your free time? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks I don't have a brother, husband or boyfriend. Also I am not from England, and people stare in this country too!!!

Sweetie, if I were you, I would not go there. The people of Dubai are very kind. It is the people who work for the government that are really cruel. Also you are a foreigner and since you do not wear the Hijab (scarf); there will be times when you will be sexually harassed by men. I recommend not going alone, go with your brother or husband, a male, Its not for anything particular but it makes it convenient sweetie. It is so sad that the people are starving and poor, yes the government is corrupt and greedy. The news do not show the poor in the media. It is all sensored. there are literary people who have a skyscaper as a house there. It has many good places like restaurants and bars, but you will be harassed if you do not wear the hijab. Basically what am saying stick to England. Lol their toilets, you have to kneel and wash with water. You will lose all your luxury that you live with in England, life in the middle east is a wonder. You will receive extra attention since you will be a foreigner. But if you can take the stare of people then you should be fine. My answer might be scary, but give it a shot and you will get used to it. Its also a good chance to start fresh. If you need any more advice or any questions just post them. For the Users below, I agree with you but, when was the last time you've been to Dubai, If the last time you've been there was five yearst ago, wooh! thats a long time and enough time for drastic changes. Sweetie listen to me, there is a revolution in the wake all over the Middle East. It might even reach Dubai, If you go there now, think about it, you might do good, but if the revolution gets there, expect some economic instability. One other thing, in the middle east to get things done, youll have to bribe your way through, even the doctors office or hospital. I am speaking from personal experience. I understand my statements might offend others, but the others either have not seen the recent Dubai and still remember an old Dubai from a couple years ago or they were lucky and did not have to pay. Anyway sweetie its all your decision. And i hope you make it for the best. goood luck!
2 :
Hello Sweetie I do not agree with some of the points made above by the user. 1) Men in the UK will harass you no matter if you wear a Hijab or not. 2) The government in the UK is more corrupt, they even steal from the treasury and claim it as tax back, for example watching porn or buy a tin of beans is claimed back. 3) The UK has turned out to be such a nasty place to live, so many crimes, thefts your not even safe to wak the streets at night. 4) UK is still in recession and the country is on the verge of bankruptcy, UK government are not stealing money from students to pay back debt. 5) Luxury in the UK, what Luxury? @S S - please eloborate. 6) Living in the UK you are in debt all your life. 7) UK Media target Asians etc.....always causing problems. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UAE 1) People are friendly and you will get the occasional flirt by guys mostly western men engage in flirting and wanting more. 2) Come and enjoy the UAE, you may like it. 3) Government is corrupt everywhere.

I agree with Habibiiii, he is right... Lsn belle i have not rly answered much for a while but once i saw this i had to help u n give u advice since some idiot just told u the wrong info, just a good advice from me, dubai is the best place on earth it has everything any human being wants, it is just the best ! veryyyyyyyyyy "stressing" safe place to live u will do fine trust me.. their is nooo harassing it is illegal. u do not need a boyfriend or male, if u do actually u r in trouble specially in hotel rooms. In dubai everyone is so so so friendly and civilized, the government is the best government in the world never had any bad reputation with any country. Dubai is the most luxurious city in the whole wide world, sorry to say this but englad ppl r very racist... in dubai their r so many night life , bars, clubs, parties, ... etc best restaurants in the world, biggest mall in the world, tallest building in the world ... etc wat else do u want? Dubai is great place and every single person is happy in except the ones that are poor. @S S : LOL! ur kidding right? england is luxurious ? sorry then u prob never went to dubai or live in karama or something sorry but ur r an idiot .. noone calls england luxiourios if u need any other help plz let me know, hope my answers help !

No matter where you are from, Dubai is a very safe place for a single woman to live/work. To avoid unwanted attention you just have to follow a simple rule: swim wear a beaches/pools only and otherwise "decent" - means, just normal western clothes, shoulders and knees should be covered. Going out at night - different story. Being single, use common sense in Dubai like you would do in the UK. Never get in the car with a stranger offering you a ride home and don't get drunk in public. Depending on your profession/position and people you will work with, please take into consideration that you might have to work with different nationalities and you may exercise different work habits. Please note that you sponsor/company has to provide a mission visa so you can legally work in the UAE. Many people came here to work short term and are still here years later. Bring your intl. driver's permit in case you want to rent a car. Ideas what to do in your spare time, please visit: http://www.dubaifaqs.com/things-to-do-in-dubai.php In the UAE you neither need a brother nor a husband to feel safe. You can live an indebendable life as a single woman here and many do so. Please just ignore the first giving answer. That person is a troll or doesn't have any clue he/she is talking about. Take care. @SS: Before you don't know what you are talking about, you better stay quiet. You never been to Dubai! You're talking typical American nonsense.

As a working woman actually in Dubai and with kids (including a girl), I can tell you that most of what you read (including one of the comments above) is pure crud. Seriously - have to pay bribes to get medical treatment. What a load. Dubai is safe, welcoming and a very easy place to live. I know many single females here and they have a great life - social life good, heaps of travel, make some good money instead of being paid a pittance. You will meet heaps of people - as you cannot get residency here, pretty much everyone is transient so they make an effort to meet people. I have met people in lifts that became friends. There are social issues, but tell me a country that does not have them!! And you MUST get to know and follow the rules here or life will not be nice for you. It is not for everyone, but I love it.
7 :
honestly , ignore the answer given by SS , it is not true what he is saying , all the others are correct Fairies gave you some good info. which is reliable good luck & welcome to dubai

yes u can study while earning too, ie,there are programme offers evening classes for working people. ... The IT field has a good future in Dubai.foreign language educators are there. Network administrators and support professionals field beter for Canada.
2 :
I wouldn't consider Linux a career field; it's an operating system which few businesses actually use. Anyway, I'm sure the IT industry is thriving in Dubai. English is widely spoken by practically everyone, but it would be a great oppurtunity to learn Arabic (the country's official language). You could also learn Hindustani and other languages brought to the UAE by immigrants, as well.

Coming from the US, what should one expect? Would it be fun and rewarding? Would it look good on a resume? Do jobs there pay well compared to the US?

You should expect a cosmopolitan society. Also when the UAE is an Islamic country, the UAE is very open and welcomes everybody. You will experiment how many nationalities can live peacefully together. Just respect the Muslim culture and the Islamic rules and you are good to go. You also can expect to visit some of the biggest and nicest malls on earth, hot weather, a lot of entertaiment possibilities etc. etc. etc. Please check Dubai out on the net, because to give information in general there are to many links to post. Working in a foreign country is a plus in every resume. More or less depending in what kind of field you are working, but it is always a plus. The pay is always better than in the US because it is taxfree. Assuming that you want to get hired from the US for a at least middle class job you can expect a basic salary (maybe the same like in the US but taxfree), housing allowance (or full paid rent) and transportation. Depending on your position and the company, some also pay furniture allowance (every three years) school fees, a yearly trip back home etc etc. It's all a matter of what you negotiate, but the mentioned things are the commen benefits that western expats can expect. Also healthcare is taking care of. You also can expect to find the same kind of brands of clothes you'll get in the US and buy the same kind of groceries. You do not have to live without hamburger helper, maccaroni cheese and kosher dill pickles, just to mention some things. The most important thing for a Westerner to have a good life in the UAE is to negotiate a good salary package. Take care.

Don't worry, all work related costs have to be paid by the employer only and if hired online, also your Airfare and visa will/have to be paid by the employer. Visa and work related costs depend on your profession and the classification of the company. By having one year experience only, please don't get your hopes up to high to land a job, but try anyway. Good luck.
2 :
You don't have to pay for visa or anything, all you have to do is apply and get the job, employer will pay all fees that are necessary.

Depends. 12 years experience of doing what? Security, help desk, basic networking, design etc? Do you have a degree? What certifications do you have? Packages 'usually' include, free medical, housing allowance, return ticket home once a year. But then again, depends on the type of company, your type of skills etc.
2 :
Dear Raman The Package will be depending on your qualification and experience (in which sector of IT etc). But to live here with your family, you should ask for a salary package not less than AED15K per month. Better to ask for an accommodation from the company and not accommodation allowance... It will reduce the stress of you... Best of Luck Thx

My 18 year old daughter is going to work in Dubai in July for 2 years, is she safe and what can she expect?
She will be working at a holiday resort - lifesaving - on a two year contract. I have heard some horror stories and then I have also heard some wonderful stories. I am really worried as she is so young and has never been on her own.

Err on the side of caution and tell her to stay, I think. If it weren't bother you, you wouldn't be asking the question.
2 :
yes she will be safe but dubia have some very strick laws so she will need to read up on them before she leave
3 :
Just be sure you tell her you love her before she leaves. I can't believe you sending an 18 year old female alone to an Islamic country for two years to take a job that involves her wearing a bathing suit in front of a bunch of rich Arabs who get all frisky at the sight of "uncovered meat" as the mullahs like to refer to it. Best of luck to your daughter. I'd rob a bank to get her some money before I'd let my daughter do such a thing.
4 :
Dubai is a very progressive middle eastern countyr. At the same time, it is still an islamic, middle eastern country. It's an interesting mixture really. There is decadence over there that would make the most capitalist American proud, yet it's still an islamic society. I agree with one of the other posters. Make sure she's well-informed on the laws, and just try not to stick out. I've been there before and I didn't feel uncomfortable. The males still wear the traditional getup, but most of the women I saw walking around look just as they would here.
5 :
keep her at home and be safe or be sorry later no BS its not safe for some experiened people now you want to send her here keep in mind HOLLOWAY in aruba
6 :
You may want to read the Country Specific Information on the UAE put out by the Department of State at http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1050.html. Wouldn't hurt to have her register with the US consulate in Dubai, which can be done on line as well.
7 :
she is only as safe as she is cautious. There are dangers for women everywhere overseas and Dubai is no different than Bangcock.
8 :
I take it Natalee Holloway has taught us nothing about how international law does NOT favor women. As progressive as Dubai is, women still disappear to human trafficking rings, and it's no secret that because of it's infancy as a developing nation, no real laws are in place to punish atrocities against women (or foreigners or the non wealthy) or to protect women (or foreigners or the non wealthy). Yet you're asking how safe your 18 year old daughter will be in a Muslim country where women are worth less horses and camels. I know you're asking because you love you're daughter but maybe if I tell you a simple little story, it'll put things in perspective. I remember getting a call from my daughter's school when she was in kindergarten. She was on the blacktop at recess, got hit by a ball hard enough to knock her out and had been taken to the local emergency room. I worked 45 minutes away, and racing down 95, I could only think of how I would react should I hear the worse. Furthermore, the emergency room staff could only tell me she was stabilized and could only perform 'life sustaining' measures until I got there and signed waivers for treatment. THAT, my friend, was the longest 45 minutes in my life! Translate this to a 16 hour flight to Dubai should (God forbid) your daughter ever need you, you'll be climbing the walls. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I can't imagine any amount of money being that important - scratch that - I can see how an 18 year girl can be seduced into thinking that making her money quickly could be the solution to a lot. However, we don't need to be the creators of our problems; problems can come looking for us, particularly as Americans where we're used to certain 'rights' not afforded to us in other countries. I know, at 18, you can't require your daughter to stay home. I'm hoping you have a good enough relationship with her that you can influence her to stay put. As a previous poster wrote, better to err on the side of caution and avert any possible tragedy. By the way, my baby was okay, but she was diagnosed with epilepsy. What she had suffered was a seizure. I sure would have hated being further away than 45 minutes, so I quit my job to find something closer. I don't know what your circumstances are but I certainly will be praying for your daughter and your family.

I am interested to work in dubai

I am interested to work in dubai?
I am interested to work in dubai, is it advisable and easier to find job by coming to dubai, or should i apply from my home town.
United Arab Emirates - 3 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Apply from your home town if you are a graduate and able to win an expatriate contract including accommodation, flights, medical cover and other benefits. If you do not have a degree, visit Dubai and look for work, but expect a smaller salary and no benefits. Expat contracts are usually time-bound, for two or three years, whereas local recruitment is open ended with few perks.
2 :
Regarding new visa rules you have to enter the UAE on an employment visa/employment entry to work in the UAE. Therefore you have to look and apply for a suitable job online. Your future employer/sponsor will then provide you with the proper entr permit. Especially these days it takes some time to find a good job. If you come here on a tourist visa and find a job, you risk to send be send back home for 30 days and enter the country on the proper permit. This can become costly for you, because these costs have to come out of your own pocket. Right now there is a "ban" on work permits for ctizen of India, Pakistan, the Philippines etc. This may not be the case for high professionals.
3 :
better apply from your hometown don't waste your time and money here becuase many people they come here to find a job and when their visa's are getting over they try to take any jobs here i have seen many people better you apply from your country and sure you will find what you are looking for .

If you have an unlimited contract and stayed with your current employer for at least one complete year, you can resign by giving a 4 weeks notice. Your work visa has to be cancelled by your present employer. For your new employer you need a NOC from your present employer, otherwise you'll get a six months ban automatically. In Dubai it is possible to pay a fee to the Labour Department to have the six months ban lifted. The amount of the fees relate on your job category and are paid by your new employer. This is not new. New is, that you do not need a NOC letter no more after having completed 3 years with your last employer. Take care.

if he is getting a consolidated salary including housing and transportation, he has to spend at least 4000 dirhams according to Dubai's expenses for 1 month and he may save 4000 balance which comes around 50000 Indian rupees.if he can shift to sharjah for accommodation may be he can save another 10000 rs extra.now a days uae become one of the most expensive places in the world.first of all think about the expenses and plan the job.otherwise you may save the income what you could get in India.don't calculate the value of the total salary.housing is rising steeply day by day and middle income group cant survive in uae now a days with an average salary even.
2 :
I am sure that many people will advise you of the same ,without knowing what your living standards are its rather hard to answer your question.I trust that you will have to set out a budget first before you can decide and also have determined the length of stay that is required One musty also consider the cost of debt and the hidden costs that are acquired as a result of moving jobs As a very brief guide line consideration towards the following must be given and biased against your personal priorities. Accommodation plus additional bills such as power and municpality Vehicle car running costs distance from work Food eating home or out Clothes and entertainment. Do you have children ie schools Money to save and cover costs at home Holidays back home filghts etc Savings From what is left if any will determine if the salary is sufficient If the 8000 includes accomodation then you may be restricted to a specific quality of living. Plus how long is the contract and does it have an inflation proof clause? You can be assurred that rent will be increased on a yearly basis. What is your salary and living expenses if you have a good combined If you live quite fugally and have a joint income over and above the 8000 then you will be able to "survive" on that salary. I know alot of expats that survive on a lot less and alot that dont survive on twice the amount .Its up to you to determine your living standards Dubai Abu Dhabi and Qatar are the most expensive states to live in at present but its really good place to be at present. Good luck but also think about the job and not just the salary as job hopping will make it difficult for employers to see you as a loyal employee
3 :
Will they provide you accomoadation coz accomodation is very expensive in Dubai. If they do,go for it.

The person above is correct. Western expats do get treated favourably. Theres a new site launching specifically for Jobs in Dubai. It might be worth uploading your resume there as they're going to go all out with advertising soon. http://www.dubaijobspot.com is the address.

Call the Dubai consulate closest to your area and ask them. You will probably have to have a health certificate from a doctor.

If you had scarring in your lungs due to the previous Tb infection, it will most probably show on your xrays. However, Tb which has been treated appropriately should not be grounds for denying residency. just don't know how strict the medical authorities are in Dubai.

You will need a Tourist VISA, from the Canadian Embassy in Dubai. Apply in person, with your passport, and secondary identification papers. Be prepared to fill out a number of forms that will ask about your travel plans and who you are going to visit in Canada. Do it as soon as possible, as there will be a security check done on you, by the Canadian Security Intelligence Agency, before a visa will be issued.. The cost of the flight is impossible to guess at. Jim B. Toronto.

No he doesn't. Frankly, I'm not sure where he lives. Why would I? Maybe he lives in Indonesia?

What is a good way to get contract work in Dubai

What is a good way to get contract work in Dubai?
I've looked on the web and some of the sites seem shady or want personal information before showing me any jobs. I'm a geotechnical engineer with 6 years experience in estimating and managing heavy civil construction projects.

NO. More power to you.

no it is not difficult for single women to get bank accounts, appartments or anything. u will not be able to get a bank account until yr residencevisa is stamped in yr passport but that applies to men or women. as for getting an apartment that again depends on yr visa status and income rather than yr gender. presumably ur working fora european company u may have a bit of a tough time if its a local company as it would be mostly men but expat companies usually have men and women. i lived and worked there for 12 yrs and know many single women there.

i think you are saying about saudi arabia in dubai no way what u said is all wrong infact they will help you out here girls get more preferences anywhere in a que or processing papers etc this is the best part about dubai and definately you will have no problems at all . i can guarantee you it's really safe for a women here . If you are decent . you can share an apartments with girls too it's ok you will it when you come here . remember they are strict too if you do something wrong ( mischief ). just follow the laws and respect it and you will be fine and happy

that's not true , you just need to present the certificate of salary (obtain from place of work) to open an account in any bank. Or if you are self employed, or have some other type of income (i.e trade license) just present some documents to that regards , and all banks will accept these after verification. Also about the Apt. its not true , you can rent it alone if you can afford it. Some local banks even have special counters & account services just for women.
