what is an MOH and what exams do I need to work in Dubai?
I have a Danish Bachelor in Nursing Degree and am a registered nurse, do I have to take any additional tests to get work in Dubai? Are there any specific requirements that you know off to come to Dubai and work? Are nurses in demand there, or is it difficult to get a job? Thank you

There are 3 licensing authorities in the UAE 1. GAHS - Genreal Authority of Health Services - For Abu dhabi 2. DHA - Dubai HEalthcare Authority (previously known as DOHMS - Department of Health and Medical Services) 3. MOH - Ministry of HEalth - For all other Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK, Fujeirah) Now, the DHA is the sole regulatory authority for Dubai. Nurses will always be in demand here because the age demographics of this place has changed after the Freehold Property options. Most expats who buy freehold are in their mid 40s to late 60s. I am just about to finish my MBA degree from a university in the UK. I have 2 years of work experience in Saudi Arabia and now I am looking forward to work in Dubai, What is the minimum monthly wages that I should accept? Any suggestions gentlemen and Ladies? (I am a Pakistani national) Thank you all in advance. I work in sales/administration of a heavy equipment rental company and also in a computer wholesaler as an assitant manager. I would prfer working in a management consultancy role or some reputable company/MNC as atleast an assitant manager.

I just finished teaching HRM to two Dubai Police Officers in a Masters course - there is cultural considerations that you would not be able to met. Also, the men told me that women are not that well ummm 'utilised' in the force. Additionally, Dubai has male police for a reason - five years as a nurse does not demonstrate the ability to get in there and mix it with thugs and thieves - but you could always ask. Also, do yu speak the local language

Yes - Dubai Police is hiring Emergency Quick Response nurses and paramedics but directly from the Philippines and NEVER from those VISIT VISA holders in Dubai. Don't come to Dubai or the UAE for the purpose of finding job. APPLY there. Mayde you are not aware but almost 6,000 Phillipine nationals are stranded in Kish Island in Iran due to visa expirations and 200 more in Oman for the same case.... all coming as visitors and ended up without a job and stucked in these two places with no Philippine Government assistance... so much for the New Heroes tag !!!!
