If i work in dubai and wear a nice Emirati gown will it be offensive?
is it acceptable? They just look so comfortable and I would love to wear one. By the way I have a lot of greek and italian blood so sometimes when i tell people i am arabic they believe me.

nothing wrong with dress,but personal advice dont tell the wrong nationality you never know whom you talking too may be CID or maybe he/she is arabic and they feel offensive----------cheers

No not at all i think they'd like seeing you trying to fit in. Alot of foreign women in dubai wear local traditional clothes :)

You can't wear a Jalabiya at work without wearing the Abaya also. Nobody will be offended.

Why wont my dsi charger work in dubai?
I bought my dsi in the USA. Its winter-break, so im visiting a relative in Dubai. I tried to charge my dsi but the orange light only blinked ONCE! My dad bought an adapter, but it still wont work. Please help im so bored without my DSi!!

Because they probably have different voltage... be careful not to damage your console by plugging it in it could fry it.. Are there no shops in dubai that selll the same product try them they might have a solution

I am a teacher looking to work in Dubai. Which are the better British schools I should look at?
I was trained in South Africa. I teach high school Maths, have a Diploma in Education and 9 years of experience- 5 of those years were spent in England. I want to move there with my wife(also a teacher) and my year-old son? Can anyone give me some advice on schools, salaries, accomodation, childcare or any other useful information would be greatly appreciated!
