If you have an unlimited contract and stayed with your current employer for at least one complete year, you can resign by giving a 4 weeks notice. Your work visa has to be cancelled by your present employer. For your new employer you need a NOC from your present employer, otherwise you'll get a six months ban automatically. In Dubai it is possible to pay a fee to the Labour Department to have the six months ban lifted. The amount of the fees relate on your job category and are paid by your new employer. This is not new. New is, that you do not need a NOC letter no more after having completed 3 years with your last employer. Take care.

if he is getting a consolidated salary including housing and transportation, he has to spend at least 4000 dirhams according to Dubai's expenses for 1 month and he may save 4000 balance which comes around 50000 Indian rupees.if he can shift to sharjah for accommodation may be he can save another 10000 rs extra.now a days uae become one of the most expensive places in the world.first of all think about the expenses and plan the job.otherwise you may save the income what you could get in India.don't calculate the value of the total salary.housing is rising steeply day by day and middle income group cant survive in uae now a days with an average salary even.

I am sure that many people will advise you of the same ,without knowing what your living standards are its rather hard to answer your question.I trust that you will have to set out a budget first before you can decide and also have determined the length of stay that is required One musty also consider the cost of debt and the hidden costs that are acquired as a result of moving jobs As a very brief guide line consideration towards the following must be given and biased against your personal priorities. Accommodation plus additional bills such as power and municpality Vehicle car running costs distance from work Food eating home or out Clothes and entertainment. Do you have children ie schools Money to save and cover costs at home Holidays back home filghts etc Savings From what is left if any will determine if the salary is sufficient If the 8000 includes accomodation then you may be restricted to a specific quality of living. Plus how long is the contract and does it have an inflation proof clause? You can be assurred that rent will be increased on a yearly basis. What is your salary and living expenses if you have a good combined If you live quite fugally and have a joint income over and above the 8000 then you will be able to "survive" on that salary. I know alot of expats that survive on a lot less and alot that dont survive on twice the amount .Its up to you to determine your living standards Dubai Abu Dhabi and Qatar are the most expensive states to live in at present but its really good place to be at present. Good luck but also think about the job and not just the salary as job hopping will make it difficult for employers to see you as a loyal employee

If you get paid for the time you traveling, why would you want to quit. Because, if you quit, you will not have money to go any ware. Doesn't make any points. So, it's up to you. Good Luck!
